Sweetheart Banquet was “sweet”

The feedback is overwhelmingly positive … 110 couples enjoyed our second annual sweetheart banquet in the majestic Palm Court at the Willow Valley resort in Lancaster on Thursday February 8th.   Amanda and our board members facilitated a smooth registration.  Kapp and Linda performed two mini dramas to help ’set the stage’ for our theme for the evening … “Celebrate Your Spouse.” 

We all enjoyed the great food of a Willow Valley buffet.  Thanks to Kyra for taking portraits of at least 80 of our couples.  Bruce Heffner sang and played some classic big band love songs to the delight of the audience.  We closed the evening with a “Celebration Ceremony.”  Be sure to check out the Fan the Flame section of our website to see the pictures of this event. 

We are always encouraged when couples say “thank you for a great chance to connect with my spouse.”  That’s what our Fan the Flame Date Nites are all about.  If you haven’t been to one get to one!!

We are doing our first Sweetheart Banquet in New Castle this Thursday night.  So you Pittsburgh friends be sure to register this week.

Valentine’s Celebrations Begin

Just returned from a great Couples’ Weekend at Montrose Bible Conference  in northern PA.  We ministered to 50 couples who were very responsive to our Seasons of Marriage presentation.  Met some “locals” from York … and made lots of new friends up in the “Endless Mountains” region. 

I shared the program with  Gordy and Marie  some excellent musicians with a similar heart for marriages.  They are from Lancaster County too … so who knows what will come out of this God ordained meeting?
